Operators of most construction activities within Doña安娜县 are required to prepare a Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP). This is the same SWPPP which the Environmental Protection Agency requires for construction activity. The SWPPP must be submitted to the County for review a minimum of 30 days before disturbing any land. For Subdivisions, the SWPPP must be included with the Final Subdivision Plan submittal. The SWPPP requirements are in Section 9 of the County’s Storm Water Management Ordinance.
